The Job:
With reference to the Group Director for Decorative Marketing, you will be part of a small team supporting the Decorative Paint markets in Europe, Middle East and China. Your responsibility is ensuring an optimum product portfolio on both existing and new markets. You will interact daily with regional colleagues from product management, marketing, R&D, sales and supply chain. Working in a global market, the position requires frequently travelling. We expect in the range of 40 days per year.
Your role and success criteria:
You will be a key person supporting our Decorative markets with following key responsibilities:
Ensure a competitive product range in respect to sales revenue and profitability
Ensure the right product specifications and performance
Optimize assortment across regions
Implement and secure best practice within portfolio management
Manage key projects
Set-up and facilitate business on new Decorative markets
Participate in product and concept Developments
Desired Skills and Experience
You have a relevant master degree (either in business or chemistry) combined with at least 5 years of experience within coatings or chemical products. You have a proven track record within implementation of complex cross functional projects as well a strong project management experience.
As person, you have the ability to connect and create allies among key stake holders to create buy-in on projects. You focus on customers – both internal and external - as well as driving projects to the end. You are highly structured and self-driven.
You are a strong communicator in English – written as spoken. You have a broad cultural experience and strong management skills.
